Compressor Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot your TEMPTU Compressor with these frequently asked questions!

Why is my compressor not turning on?

Make sure the compressor is properly plugged in and that the on/off switch is in the "on" position. Excess air in the hose can cause the compressor to stall until the air is released. If this is the case, press the trigger to release excess air from the hose. Another factor to consider is how long the compressor has been running—after long periods, the motor can overheat, causing the compressor to shut off and stall until it has had enough time to cool. Allow the compressor to rest before starting up again.

How do I keep my compressor from overheating?

The best way to keep the compressor from overheating is to shut the compressor off when it is not in active use. Also, keep it away from heat sources at all times.

Why is my S-One compressor rattling?

A plate or fan may be broken in the compressor.

How does the Temptu Air battery work?

The TEMPTU air battery is rechargeable. If the battery is completely depleted, it will take 2 hours to completely recharge. The run time on a fully charged battery is 70-90 minutes, depending on the pressure that the unit is running at. Performance is consistent between 300-400 charge cycles.
