I studied theatre design, and got my BFA at UCLA and had a desire to do makeup and hair. After college I started assisting an artist who worked primarily in editorial and fashion, and have now been an independent artist for 6 years.
When I got M.I.A. ready for the Grammys back in 2009. It was such an amazing experience, and helped establish new clients and accounts.
I started airbrushing in NY when I was an assistant to a makeup artist who actually used TEMPTU. She began teaching me the basics and then I really started gaining more knowledge on airbrushing from then on (around 2008).
I have been using airbrushing for 5+ years.
TEMPTU gives that flawless coverage while using minimal product. You can use as little as possible but still see great results. I find that TEMPTU is one of the best brands for minimal makeup.
Learning trigger control is vital. Learn how to use the gun, and how much product comes out when the trigger is in different positions. Also, I use the S/B makeup on a regular makeup brush to apply makeup; it has a very nice consistency.
Spring! I love that super fresh/pinched cheek with a bitten lip look.
I get a lot of my inspiration from nature and living by the beach.
I am headed to Portland for an advertising job for four days, and will be working with an Olympian in April.
