CFDA Awards Limited Edition Book showcases Temptu Body Art
The Council of Fashion Designer of America (CFDA) Awards is one of the biggest fashion events of the season. This year, the CFDA sent attendees home with a book shot my Mikael Jansson featuring supermodel Raquel Zimmerman in the twenty-five nominees’ designs. John Waters' cult classic film "Cry-Baby" is now getting a taste
of the footlights on Broadway
Temptu created the tattoos for the original cult classic, so we were a natural fit for the Broadway run of the show, especially since makeup artist Randy Mercer has used Temptu before for everything from the Broadway revival of "Cabaret" to the Julia Roberts hit "Runaway Bride". The West Coast headquarters of Temptu broke ground this week with a staff of designers, carpenters, and showroom workers as they set out to begin the transformation of our Westmoreland Avenue showroom in Los Angeles’ Silverlake neighborhood.
On the agenda are training units, an outdoor lounge and airbrushing en plein air, staff offices and 21st century showroom for Temptu, as we enter a new era from East Coast to West Coast, covering the country in high-definition makeup. The Jared Gold Spring 2008 Fashion Show CZARINA
Temptu was thrilled to be backstage at what turned out to be the premier event of LA Fashion Week: the Jared Gold Spring Fashion Show Czarina. Temptu sponsored a 10 person team of airbrush makeup artists keyed by film and television makeup veteran Stacy Hummell.
