Color Correcting FAQs
Q: Do you color correct before foundation?
A: As a general rule, color correctors should be applied before foundation. TEMPTU Perfect Canvas Color Correctors, however, can be used alone, under or over foundation to simplify the need for heavy concealers, blending and buffing.
Q: Do you put color corrector on before or after primer?
A: Color correctors should be applied after primer to ensure that the coverage lasts all day.
Q: How do you correct the color in redness?
A: Redness in fair-to-tan skin tones is best targeted with green and yellow color correctors. Green works to conceal intense redness from rosacea, acne, blotchy skin or irritation, while yellow neutralizes milder forms of redness. Caramel and peach are ideal at targeting hyperpigmentation in dark-to-deep skin tones instead.
