5 Gorgeous Wedding Looks Created with TEMPTU’s New Bridal Makeup Kit

Here comes the bride… and the brand-new Bridal Makeup Kit by TEMPTU! Created in collaboration with professional makeup artist Julia Dantas, our latest airbrush set is designed to help you look your absolute best on your big day (or any day you please). We asked Dantas to share five of her all-time favorite bridal makeup looks and how to achieve each one using our newest kit.

5 Bridal Makeup Looks That Will Make You Say, “I Do!”

“When a bride picks you to do her makeup on the biggest day of her life, that truly says a lot. You have a big role in her day, and you want to make sure you’re doing everything in your power to make the makeup application look as flawless as possible and to make sure everything runs smoothly.” – Julia Dantas

Look #1: Natural Bride

“Everyone wants to look stunning without wearing anything too heavy or over the top. TEMPTU is such a reliable product that I’ve been using it for years, and it’s really elevated my makeup game while giving my clients a more luxurious experience. I’m confident knowing it’s going to work on my clients every single time!”

Keep your wedding-day makeup au natural with this glowing bridal look. Dantas used our illuminating primer and color correctors to enhance the model’s features while creating a flawless complexion.

  1. Dantas begins by applying TEMPTU’s Brilliant Glow: Illuminating Primer & Skin Perfector to achieve a gorgeous base that’s lit from within. “This is great on all skin types and leaves your skin feeling hydrated and refreshed,” Dantas explains.
  2. Next, she suggests using TEMPTU’s Perfect Canvas One Step Concealer & Color Corrector to cover up anything from dark undereye circles to blemishes and hyperpigmentation. (Green color correctors are best for concealing unwanted pink/red tones, while melon shades neutralize undereye circles and blue veins.)
  3. She then holds the TEMPTU Air a few inches away from the skin and applies TEMPTU Airbrush Foundation in circular motions using speed setting 2. Dantas recommends using multiple layers to build a flawless, full-coverage look.
  4. Using the TEMPTU Concealer Wheel, Dantas picks a concealer 2-3 shades lighter than her chosen shade of foundation. Apply concealer to the bridge of the nose, forehead, and chin, and then place it beneath the eyes in a triangle shape to instantly disguise under-eye circles.
  5. Dantas suggests using a deeper foundation shade to contour the face rather than simply relying on bronzer. The reason? Foundation provides gorgeous coverage while bronzing and chiseling the features.
  6. Dantas highlights the high points of the face using the Brilliant Glow: Illuminating Primer & Skin Perfector.
  7. She then applies blush to the apples of the cheeks, blending the product back into the cheekbones. Craving more dimension? Dantas recommends using the same blush shade in the crease of the eye. “What’s great about this kit is that you can use many products in a variety of different ways.”

Look #2: Classic Bride

Prefer a little more color? Dantas suggests building upon the natural makeup above to accentuate the features even further. This is one of Dantas’ most requested looks, and it’s universally stunning on different skin tones and face shapes.

  1. Dantas applies a neutral brown eyeshadow shade to the crease of the eye. “This adds shape and texture to the look for more intensity” and is a good technique for “clients that want a bit more of a pop.”
  2. She then uses a pink lip liner and matching lipstick to define the lips.

Look #3: Hollywood Retro Bride

Every bride belongs in the spotlight, and this A-list look is red-carpet ready. Dantas gave the Classic Bride makeup above some starlet-inspired glamour using the following steps:

  1. Using a gel eyeliner, Dantas created a seamless eyeliner wing. “It’s important to take your time with this, because this is a main feature everyone will be admiring,” she explains.
  2. Next, Dantas suggests applying your favorite false lashes on top of your favorite mascara. Once the glue has dried, you can re-apply your mascara to marry the lashes and falsies together. (Pun intended.)
  3. Dantas then creates a classic red pout with a blue-based red lipstick and matching lip liner. (Don’t worry if you make any mistakes with the color—you can always clean it up with the TEMPTU Concealer Wheel to make sure the lines are perfect.)
  4. Finally, she adds TEMPTU’s Brilliant Glow: Illuminating Primer & Skin Perfector to the cheekbones for a luminous finishing touch.

Look #4: Boho Beach Bride

This sunkissed look lets you embrace your inner flower child, and it’s particularly ideal for summertime weddings.

  1. Dantas begins by applying a slightly deeper foundation shade along the forehead, cheekbones, and jawline.
  2. She then uses the same foundation to create fake freckles. “Since the foundation is water resistant, it truly will last all day. Just place it on the back of your hand, and use a tiny definer brush to make easy freckles in no time!” As Dantas explains, “Adding freckles is always a cute touch to make you look like you’ve been soaking in the sun.”
  3. Next, she adds a bit more of the foundation/contour color to the eyelids for a more defined look. You can also dip back into the brown eyeshadow to intensify the eyes even further. (Dantas applies a foiled shade of ivory-pink eyeshadow to the eyelid, as well.)
  4. She then dusts on a rosy pink blush to add a flush of color to the cheeks.
  5. Next, Dantas plumps up the lips using a pink gloss.
  6. Finally, she applies TEMPTU’s Brilliant Glow: Illuminating Primer & Skin Perfector on the cheekbones, shoulders, and collarbones to complete the look.

Look #5: Glam Bride

Dantas calls this show-stopping look her personal favorite and recommends it “for clients who want it all.” Complete with an intense smokey eye and nude lips, it’s perfect for an evening ceremony under the stars.

  1. Dantas applies a dark brown eyeshadow to the crease of the eye using a patting motion to build up the pigment.
  2. She then uses the same dark brown eyeshadow right under the waterline. “You can either leave this as-is or use a black pencil in the waterline to really intensify this look and bring it up a notch,” she explains.
  3. Finally, she uses a nude-brown liner and matching lipstick to emphasize the lips in a way that matched the intensity of the eyeshadow.
